Sure that all the people have a calendar in their houses. The calendar is practical, you can write all the birthdays and when arrive this day you look at the calendar and you remember the birthday.

Calendar derives to the Latin: calendarium. It was the  notebook of accounts. 

There are a lot of types of calendars, there are the most populars:

Hindu: it's a collection of calendars, can be astronomic, solar and lunar. This calendars come of India. this three types of calendars work different. 

Muslim: it’s a lunar calendar, it has cycles of 30 years and this 30 years, have 19 years of 354 days and 11 years of 355 days.

Chinese:  this calendar is solar and lunar. In China the people work without calendar but sometimes work with this calendar because it marks the holydays. They work with this calendar for choose the married day and for study the moon phases.

  Here the farm workers work with ours calendars. This calendar is made on Catalonia and it explains the moon phases, the solar phases, the climate and all the things that a farm-worker need for worker.
