Chicago

The place what I'm going to descrive is the city of Chicago. It’s in the east of the United States and it’s the biggest city in Illinois, where three million people live.

The center of Chicago offers a lot of amazing skyscrapers, one, that is very well known, is the Willis Tower because is the tallest building. In this part of Chicago you can also see ancient museums, like the museum of contemporany art or the museum of history, a lot of parks like the remarkable Millenium park where there is the fascinating monument called “the bean” because it looks like a big bean. A popular tourist attraction is riding a boat by the Chicago river, it’s amazing because the views are beautiful and you can see the sky line.

Chicago is a very clean city, with not too much pollution, because most of the citizens go to work by train, because it’s very cheap and fast. A lot of people choose the bycicle to move around because it doesn’t pollute and you can enjoy the views.


In my opinion Chicago is the best place in the United States to visit because there are a lot of amazing buildings like in New York but it isn’t as polluted and crowded as it.

Llançà

Two years ago I went to Llançà with my family. We stayed a week in an apartament.
Llançà is a little town but a very tourist town. Llançà doesn't have a lot of museums to visit but in other villages next to Llançà yes. In Cadaqués we visited the Dlí museum and his house. You have a lot of things to visit.
The weather in Llança was in summer and it was very sunny but not very hot and at night it was chilly but in all days that I stayed in didn't rain.
In llançà there are a lot of restaurants that the food is delicious. The best you can request is the seafood because it's very fresh and from here.
There not were a lot of young people but there were a lot of tourists.
 Llançà people are very friendly but I didn't meet a lot of people because I was with my family.
Llançà is my favourite place abroad because It's very different from my city, there is a beach and it's a very interesting place, I want to go back in the future.

Description of a place

My favourite place is Ibiza, it is the best place for young people and is one of the most visited places of the world. In Ibiza there's a lot of people from other countries so is an international island. There are a lot of activities to do, even at night. Ibiza has the best discos clubs and pubs of the world. It's incredible how many discos are there and the quality too. But it isn't only parties, there are a lot of pretty beautiful beaches, fairly expensive restaurants and boutiques.
The weather is perfect in summer, very hot and a bit of humid because of the Mediterrania sea, unusually in summer it can rain. In my opinion one strength is the gastronomy. You can have a traditional beer from Ibiza or eat a delicious salad with raw shrimps of that area. I love it because it is quiet variety. The people are extremely friendly and understandable with the other people that aren't from Ibiza. This is one of the reasons to go there and in my experiences it is very helpful. Then, it is almost difficult to lose in Ibiza because it has a lot of traffic signals and it is easy to found the awesome,  beautiful, big discos. The shore of Ibiza is quiet white and the sand is soft but not all the island has shore there are also cliff.
In conclusions, this my favourite place to be on holidays because we have a lot of parties with the best DJs of the world and you have the peace of a deserted island with a lot of seashore and dry forest. Of course don't forget the typical gastronomy.

CARDIFF

Last summer I visited Cardiff with my friend Laura. We stayed there three weeks with a family.
Cardiff is much bigger than my city, whose name is Tremp. Cardiff is really crowded and a slightly stressful. There were a lot of shops; some of them were extremely expensive.
Cardiff has some castles, a stadium where one can go to see a match, a concert... I'm talking about the Millennium Stadium. Castles, Millennium Stadium, the Bay, the ice rink... there were a lot of things to do in Cardiff and all of these places are really fantastic.
The weather in Cardiff is variable. I went in summer and it was warm and sunny, but the firsts days of being in Cardiff rained and for this reason you need to take and umbrella.
Like whatever you go, you will found a variety of restaurants. Apart from the burgers there were more than 35 good restaurants.
There were a lof of young people and it has really young atmosphere. I could see some tourists as well. 
The people in Cardiff are really outgoing and I felt like in home. When I arrived I was extremely nervous because I didn't know anything about the family of Cardiff, but they were extremely welcoming with me and my friend.
Why Cardiff is my favourite place abroad? It's easy; this city is really different from Tremp, with all the aspects. I've made a lot of new friends and I want to go back one day.

PIRINEUS

My favorite country is “Pirineus”, is my favorite country because I live there and I love this landscape. “Pirineus” are very charming, quiet, picturesque, a lot of relaxed, beautiful, colorful… The inconvenient of live in “Pirineus” is away from the city, but the other things are great. 

The weather is variable, in the summer is very hot and in the winter there is very snow and is very cold. In spring and in autumn the weather is comfortable.

The food in “Pirineus” is really good. The food is handmade, usually used mostly organic food. The “Callos” is the food that I love it. I think that the “Callos is organic food, these ingredients are: lamb, onion, water, potatoes, vegetables, chickpeas.

The people of “Pirineus” are very sociable, but some people are impertinent. The majority of people are extremely friendly.

“Pirineus” is my favorite place because in this country there are a lot of rate museums, sculpture… There are museums of dinosaurs, raiers, geology, hydraulic system… The sculptures represent raiers, bidders…

This is my favorite country and I don’t change for anything, I love this, I recommend visiting.
