New York's postcard

Dear friends,
last summer I went to New York and I happened a nice summer! I went there alone.
I stayed in an expensive hotel in the center of the city, my room was very big and the bed was very soft. 
I visitted many interesting places of the city. First, I went to the Liberty Statue and I toke a very nice photo there:

After that, I went to the Empire State, it was very tall! I had lunch in this ediffice. After the visit in this big ediffici, I was very tired so I returned to the hotel. I passed a very good night and the next day, I visitted Rockefeller Center and WOW! It was very interesting and I'd love it, so I returned there the next day. Two days in Rockefeller Center! There, I met with girl of my High School and together, we drank a Coca-Cola in a very famous bar of the city.

The 4th day I went to the Times Square and I bought a lot of clothes and sounivers! It was full of many different games, clothes, digital cameras, TVs and other things.

 I happened a nice day in this place but... I spent all my money so I needed to return to the hotel, caught my things and went to the airport! I returned to my country without money but, I passed a very nice holidays in New York!

Hello my name is Eloy I'm 14 years old. My parents are Maria Dolores and Eloy, I've got a sister her name is Desiree and I've got a cat called Kitty. I live in Pobla de Segur.  Hey! My name is Maria Cambon Carrió. I'm 14 years old. I'm an only child. I was born on 9th  February,  1998 in Tremp, but I live in Salas de Pallars. Salas is a small town, and it is very beautiful. I live with my parents and my grandfather in a house. My father's name  is Enric and my mother's name  is Roser. I have one dog, her name is Lluna. Lluna is a white, beautiful and big dog. What I like more is:  blue color, number 8, swiming.
I like animals, babies , go shopping and salads. 
I don't like bananas and I hate fish, cauliflower and snakes.


I'm in 2nd ESO. My best friends ara Maria, Laura, Mar and Gemma. I go to INS La Pobla, in La Pobla de Segur, my  favourite school subjects are Maths, English and Gym. My teachers are funny and together, we have a funny time.

Hello! My name is Joana Escala Muñoz and I'm 13 years old. I was born on 7th of December, 1998, in Esplugues, Barcelona. I live in Tremp, but I go to school in La Pobla de Segur. I'm in 2nd ESO. My favourite subject is French. I have got a brother, his name is Miquel, my  mother is called Isabel and my father Miquel too. My best friend is Elena. I have got family in Barcelona and I love going to Barcelona because I have friends too and I can go to shopping. I love the animals, and I have got five animals in my house. I have got one dog, Lluna, and four cats, one is adult and three are babies, they are called Boleta, Blanqueta, Garfield and Peque. I like the sports. I like reading and I love listening to music. I don't like a specific band of music, I like the songs by the letter. I love going shopping and going to the cinema with my friends. My favourite colours are purple, blue and green.

Hey, I'm Agapito. I live in Pobla de Segur (Lleida) whit my parents, brothers and sister. I'm 13 years old, my birthday is 1st (of )september. My favorite sport is football and my favorite team is F.C.Barcelona and Real Madrid.  I listen to music for many tipes of music, but my favorite tipe of music is Dance. I go to school in the IES La Pobla de Segur. My favorite subjecet is science, maths and computer technology.  I speak spanish, catalan and english but I don't like the langues lesson, because (*) is some repetitives. My extracurriculars is climbing and play football.   

Sometimes, I help my father, My father is a farmer and it had 2 farms and 3 tractors. In my farm, I feeding the chiken, the cows and the bulls, I drive the tractor, I like this, I put in  the bales in orden and I hunt the pigeons because it eat he feed of animals, and I am angry. 

My Mother is (*) midwife so I can't help the mother whit her job, but I can help in the work of house. I like my live !!!

GEMMA CONTRA

Hello I'm Gemma; I'm 13 years old. In fifteenth November I will be 14 years old; I live in St. Joan de Vinyafrescals with my family, I haven't got a big family; I'm an only child.

My father is a shepherd, he isn't tall and is old, is very funny. My mother is a teacher; she is very short and is very intelligent. In my garden I have four cats, I love it, and they are my favorite animals. There are very pretty and big.  

I like go shopping, I'm going to Lleida and Barcelona. My favorites hobbies are skiing, swimming, reading and the figure skating. I hate the cheese, but I love vegetables. My favorite color is purple and my favorite number is seven. I like listening to music, but I haven't got a favorite band of music.  I love taking photos. 

In winter Maria Pazos, Clàudia and I went to Espot each Saturday, because we were going to ski. It was very funny and finally we went to (*) race! Was a fantastic experience.

I study in the IES la Pobla de Segur. My favorites subjects are Maths and English. I go to my school with the bus, I go everyday with Mar and other people.

In my class there are 16 people. They are unique.

My best friend is Mertxe, but Maria P, Laura, Mar and Maria C, are good friends for me. Some Fridays evenings we meet and we go for tea time in Sant Miquel (confectionery). Last Monday we went to Mar's house for seeing a movie (3MSC). It was very amusing. 

Last year I went to a English class in tremp (Leones), with other people. Last summer my friends and I we participated in a summer camp, in Coma-ruga. It was great. In this summer camp we did English and sports, one day we did surf but it was very difficult and entertaining!

My life is very enjoying!

Hello! I'm Maria Pazos

Hello! My name is Maria Pazos.

I'm fourteen years old and my birthday is on 3rd February.

I live in la Pobla de Segur with my parents. I'm an only child and I haven't got animals in my house.

I go to school in the IES la Pobla de Segur and I'm in 2nd ESO. My favourite subjects are P.E, maths, English and science. I like going to school.

My best friend is Laura, but Gemma, Maria and Mar are also my good friends.

My hobbies are listening to music, meeting my friends and I like swimming too. I listen (*to) many types and groups of music. I haven't got a favourite group so I listen (*to) different songs of different groups of music.

When I meet with my friends, we go to the park or to the cinema and sometimes we take photos. We hardly ever do excursions, but when we do it, we've got a very entertaining day.

Last year I went to swim every Wednesday in Talarn's swimming pool.

I also like go shopping to Lleida but I can't go often there, because many weekends I go to visit my grandmother that lives in Capdella. Every Sundays I lunch with all of my family in my grandma's house.

I like the summer too because I've got holidays. The disadvantage is that in the mornings I'm often bored. In the afternoons no, because all the days I go to the swimming pool with my friends. Sometimes we go riding a bike.

Hey! I'm Laura Knightley

Hello! I'm Laura and I'm 14 years old. My birthday is on 8th May.
I like cats, ski, Rock Music and travel and I hate the cheese, onions and the bored people.
I live in La Pobla de Segur with my parents, my brother and my cat, Jolie.
My favourite group of music is The Beatles. I love The Rolling Stones, REM, Els Manel, Pink Floyd, Green Day, Coldplay, too.


I've got a lot of hobbies, but I'm going to say only four: I love doing excurions in the forest  and for everywhere. When it's summer, I do excursions for the beachs and when I'm in Pobla, I go to many different mountains. I always go there with my dad and sometimes comes my mother.
Last weekend, I climb a very tall mountains and after that, two mountais more! I walked 25 km. and when I finished, I was very very tired. My other hobby is listening the Beatles. I love them, they're my idols. In the future, I want to meet with Paul Mccartney and visit the Beatles museum in Liverpool. I know the tittle of a lot of Beatles songs, I know the letters of all of them and when I'm lonely at home I sing the songs for all the house. My third hobby is take photos. All the days that I can, I go to a meadow near my house. There, I take photos of many horses and of the nature. When I go on a trip, I always go with my digital camera and I take photos of the landscape. My last hobby is going to Portaventura; there, there are a lot of roller coasters. I love all of them, but Dragon Khan and Furius Bako are the best, they are incredible, indescribable. When you're on the roller coaster, you want to repeat and you return to the roller coaster! I always go to the roller coaster with my brother, Roger. He's got 18 years old and he studies Industrial engineering in Lleida.


I like going to my High School, it's entertaining, fun but... The teachers love homework and whe've got a lot! I love the languages, especially Catalan and English. I love geography, too.


I like going shopping with my mum in Pull&Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius, Zara, H&M, etc. I love the clothes, and I like going always well-dressed, with belts, pendings, bracelets and other accessories.


I love my friends. My best friend is Maria Pazos. She isn't charlatan, but she's sincere and a very nice person. I'm her friend and I love it. Maria Cambon, Mar Sullà and Gemma Contra are the best, too. This girls and me form a group, the Sugus.


This August I'm going to go to England, Exeter. I go there 15 days and 1 day I'm going to go to London. In Exeter, I'm going to study in Isca School. In this school, there are boys and girls from around the world! In the same school, we going to do barbacoe once a week, we're going to play in the bowling and I going to practice a lot of sports. I think that it summer is going to be perfect, incredible. i want that arrives August for go to England!


 I like sport. In winter I ski all the weekends. In the evenings I go run with my mum and I love it. Two afternoons for week, I go swimming in Talarn.
