Africa

Africa is the world's second largest and second most populous continent, it has got 1,032,532,974 of people after Asia, Africa is a big continent, it has got 52 contries. The most impotant monuments in Africa are: the sphinx, the Giza pyramids, the temple of Abu Simbel, Alexandria... There are many different cultures and religions (the Animism, Islam and Christianity). Africa also has got 2.000 languages, like the Moroccan, Swahili, Saharan, Austronesian... a lot!

AFRICA CONTINENT

Africa is a very big continent, it has got 30,221,532 km2 and 1,032,532,974 people! Africa has got a lot of islands: the Seychelles, the Cape Verde islands, Zanzíbar... but the biggest is Madagascar and it has got 587,041 m2. 


The most impotant monuments in Africa are: the Giza pyramids, the sphinx, the temple of Abu Simbel, Sbeitla (an ancient roman city)...


Africa is very big, because this, it has got a lot of ecosystems:

• The Sahara desert
• The Namibia's and Kalahari's deserts
• The Rift Valley
• The Congo
• The great lakes
• The Savanna

They are tree religions in Africa: the Christianity, the Islam and the Animism.

Africa also has got 2.000 languages, like the Moroccan, Swahili, Saharan, Austronesian... a lot!

Go to africa is very dangerous because the lions, and other animals are very dangerous.

my favourite country in the Africa is Gambia because Gambia is very beutiful and very small.

In Gambia go very hungry, but the people 

finght to find food.

in contrast to the other side of Gambia is a beautiful beach.

Under Gambia there is Guinea Bissau, Guinea Bissau is very very beutiful,

Africa is a beutiful courtry. It's also very big. It's bigger than Europe but smaller than America. Its landscape is meravellous. Africa has got a symbol: a lion. Why ? Because the lions place where the lions live is Africa. The main incomes of Africa com from "safari". Peoplelike this activity very much  and every year hundreds of people go there for their holidays.

Apart from nature , Africa has got beautiful and huge cities: Marakesh, El Cairo, Essauria, Bagdad, "Ciudad del cabo"... All of them have got huge markets where people buy and send things, food, clothes...Also, these cities have got the new are (the most tourist) and the old area called "Medina". Last year, "the world cup" football was played there and Spain on. I love africa !!!

In this continent there are many people and they die for the poverty.

Also there are many diseases. 

There is a river Nile, this is the  longest river in the world and the high mountain in Africa is Kilimanjaro (5.885 m) in Tanzania.

      In Africa there are more animals, herbivorous and carnivorous:

·         Herbivorous: giraffes, zebras, …

·         Carnivorous: lions, tigers, ...

The snakes are dangerous in this continent for example a cobra.

Africa it's very hot, but during the day it is hot and during the night it is cold. 

It's an interesting continent and you can do a tour.

Africa is a big continent, it is bigger than Oceania and Europe and it’s smaller than America and Asia.

In Africa the weather is very hot always its rain.

Africa is surrounded by the Mediterranean sea to the north, with the  Indian Ocean to the south and east, the Atlantic Ocean to the west.

        

The principal mountains of Africa are the Kilimanjaro and Mont Kenya. There is a volcano in the Kilimanjaro mountain. It’s name is Kibo.

And the principal deserts are Sahara in the north of Africa and Kalahari in the south.

There is a river the  Nile is the longest river in the world. There are other rivers: Congo , Niger and Zambezi. There are tree important lakes: Victoria, Malawi and Tanganyika.

In Africa there are carnivorous and herbivorous animals. The herbivorous animals are lions, cheetah and hyenas. The herbivorous animals are elephants, giraffes etc.

Africa is a beautiful and interesting continent, go to Africa !!!!

Africa is a big continent, it has got 54 contries! There are many different cultures and religions (the Animism, Islam and Christianity). In Africa there is a tropical climate. 

There are three famous mountains the Atlas, the Monte Kenya and the Kilimanjaro. The Kilimanjaro is a volcano and is very heigh! It measures 5.895 m. The wether in Africa is very hot and it never reins! 

In Africa you can see lots of animals: elephants, giraffes, lions ... 

There are big deserts, in the Sahara's desert you can see the Egypt pyramids and you can ride a camel with other people. In Egypt there is the Nil river is very long it measures 6.671 km long. In the Nile there are many cocodriles. In Dakar you can visit the of Western African Culture.

In Kenya, Uganda, Congo and Tanzania there is a Victoria's lake, it is very long and it measures 337 m.  
 

Africa is a fantastic Continent and interesting!

The African continent!

I like Africa! It's a very big continent, the third largest in the world (it has got 54 countries).
It has got high mountains. The highest are The Atlas and Kilimanjaro is the highest volcano of Africa, it is in the north of Tanzania.

It's very hot and it doesn't rain hardly ever, but it has got a lot of very interesting things that you can visit. There you can also  know an other culture and other customs very different than ours. 

Africa has got big deserts, where you can do excursions riding a camel. The desert of Sahara is the biggest. You can visit pyramids where are the pharaos there, in Egypt. In Egypt you can see the Sphinx too.
You also can go to the river Nile and take a boat to go across it and see animals as crocodiles. 

In Libia you can see ancient Roman ruins. There are interesting and beautiful to visit.

All about Africa!

Hello! If you know I'm Laura Knightley and I'm going to tell you many things about Africa.
Africa is a continent situated in the middle of the Earth. The weather is very hot, it doesn't usually rains.There're 49 countries. 
There aren't many mountains in Africa, but the most famous are the Atlas Mounts, Ahaggar Mountains and Tibesti Mounts (these twree are in the north). There are too the Mitumba Mounts in the east of the continent.
There is a very famous volcano, (*) Kilimanjaro. It's in the north of Tanzania. This volcano it's of 5,895 metres tall!


 

In this continent there are very famous rivers, but there is one very important: The Nile's River. It's of 6,673 km long! It's in Egipt, in the north. It borns in Victoria's lake.
In Africa there's too the Congo river. It's 4,669 km. metres long. (*) Congo's River it's one of the most abundant rivers of the world!

There's is too a very important lake in Africa! It's Victoria's lake and it's situate in Tanzania, but there's is a bit of the lake in Uganda and Kenya, too. His most important inflow is the Kagera (river). His surface is 68,800 km square. 


In Africa there're different religions: the Animism, Islam and Christianity.


I tell you a lot fo things about Africa and I hope that you like them!

AFRICA

Africa is the second biggest countinent. In Africa there is a tropical climate. It is very hot. There are more deserts. In the sabana, there are lions and more wild and dangerous animals. In Africa many populations are poor. In Africa there is the longest river of the world. You can cross the river with a ship. In Africa there are very interesting populations, for exemple, Egypt has got the pyramids.

My mother explained me, that she saw on the TV, a man that (he) help the African populations. In Spain he works as (*) plastic surgeon and with the money that he recolects he goes to African and he operates the people for free. 

Africa is very interesting and I love it.
