Enric: Is that your sister, Dúnia? I would like to meet her!

Montse: Well, she is four years older than me. She is doing second of Eso. If you want I can introduce her.

Enric: She looks a bit like you, doesn't she? You've got a similar face.

Montse: I don't know, I think we are very different.

Enric: But, what's she like? Have you got similar personalities?

Montse: Yes, we have similar personalities, but she is more shier than me and I have a strong personality.

Enric: But you got a heart of gold and I am sure that your sister got it too.

Montse: Oh Enric, I agree with you. You got also a heart of gold. My sister is clever than me. I really admire her memory and her intelligence.

Enric: Everybody has different capacities in this life and that makes you extraordinary. You have to be the best version of you and be strong in every moment.

Montse: That's good advice!

A day in London

Three summer ago, I went to Ashford (UK) to spend three weeks with a family because I wanted to improve my English. Last day, 23rd July, before getting on the plane, we visited the most important buildings and monuments of London. 

We arrived in London early in the morning. Our camp leader was our guide. "Look at that, it is the Big Ben", she said, "You can see how pretty the city of London is". We were amazed with all the monuments.

We visited the Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye... and we also had free time in Oxford Street! I am in love with London.

But, when we were in front of the Buckingham Palace, we saw William's son, because he was born on 22nd July 2013. William and his wife did the presentation of their first son. For me, it was the best experience of our visit in London.

It was an unfogettable experience. I've made a lot of new friends and I saw a lot of buildings and monuments. We got back home on 23rd July 2013. I really hope I can come back there one day. 

The person I admire is my mother Anna Cuberes. Anna Cuberes has beautiful short, curly dark hair and bright small brown eyes. She is in her fourties now, but in May she will be 50 years old. She is not as slims as she was, but for me she is the prettiest women I've ever met. Her face is kind and round and sheis happy and laughing, she has a lovely smile. She is not very tall, she is average. She looks like a woman of her age, with modern and fashionable clothes. 

She worries more for my sister and I and our good image with the clothes, she is good-looking. 

Anna is as strong as an ox and she is also got a heard of gold. She is chatty and confident with her friends and family. She works very hard every day to offer a good future to my sister and I. Anna is very clever and I admire that. She is an easy-going person and I thing she is a great listener. In addiction, she is always helping everybody.

Like all the mothers, she is bassy and she is also fairly gossip!

Next year I amb going to study in Lleida, but I know that she will be always there when I need her. Although we usually discuss, I will love her all my life.

-          Yesterday I found a man who was a bit similar to you.

-          Really?! Who was it?

-          Mmm… I don’t know but he was playing chess in London’s bar. And he won every match which he played as you. I remember that he had some factions in which they were the same as you.

-          Are you affirming that my uncle Ernest is here?

-          I don’t know, may be. He seemed very clever and very earnest.

-          Was he as thin as a rake?

-          Yes he was. He was very slim…. Is his best drink the tea?

-          Yes it is. Thank you a lot, I will ring her and meet too.

-          Bye Agapito.

-          Bye.

MY MOTHER

Anna Cuberes is the person who I admire. She is my mother and she is the best I have. I attribute all my success in my life to the moral, intellectual, and physical education I receiver from her. Anna was born in 1966 in Tremp in the North of Catalonia. She still lives there, and she has two sisters and one brother.

Since she was a child she is a warrior. When she was two years old, her sister died when she was playing with her. She was wearing a plastic robe and he burned it with the heather. It was terrible for my mother, but it was more difficult for their parents.
She studied in Tremp until she had to go to the university. She started the career of lawyer, but she had to stop because her brother was born, and her mother had to work.
After some years working in different job, like in a restaurant, caring old people and children, in the hostital of Tremp... she met my father Josep Maria. They started their relationship in 1996 and since then they are together.
On 26th April 1997 they got married, and one year later I was born. Some years later, exactly in 2002, we had a new member of our little family, my sister Dúnia.

Now we are still living in Tremp. We had bad moments but we have overcome them all together, as a family. I only have good words to my mother, and thanks to her I am the person that I am. In short, I have the best mom in the world.

A CRIME

Police officer: Would you be able to reconize the woman again?

Me: Yes, of course! I remember her perfectly! That's an image I will never forget, it's the ferts time I have seen a crime... I saw the woman with all her details, she was next to me.

Police officer: If you remember her so perfectly our work will be easier: we will able to recognize her with your acurate description. Can you begin with her face?

Me: Yes, I can remember se was wearing a pair of glasses of those which seem realy old fashion, with that wide glass. Her eyes were small (maybe due to the glass of the glasses) and blue. Her eyebrows were so thin and grey as her short and curly grey hair. Her nose had a normal size, it wasn't neither small. She had a big mouth with thin lips, which were painted in a hard purple: this was a ditintive fact about her. That's all about her face, sir.

Police officer: What a perfect description, Mrs! Would you mind describing her general appearance?

Me: She appeared being on her sixties and she was very elegant: she was wearing a white hat and two pearls as earings, as well as colliar made of these ones. I don't remember at all how tall she was, but she was more or less as me, a metter sixty more or less.What I am sure of is her weight: she was quiet fat, I can't help thinking how she run couls as he did being like that! 

Police officer: Brilliant! The information you have given us will be very useful to solve the crime. To finish with the physical description, would you be able to describe the clothes she was wearing?

Me: That will be quite difficult, sir... I pull all my attention on her face... But I can remember she was wearing black or dark clothes. 

Police officer: Well, that will be enough, thank you! And you'd like to remark any treat of her personality? 

Me: Well, I haven't spoken to her and neither heard her speaking to someone else, but her acts were typical of a shy person. She acted as if she was relesead, and didn't attract the attention of the others. In fact, she was smiling and seemed to be sure of what she was doing.

Police officer: Perfect, that's all the information we needed about the suspect. Thank you very much, you've been very useful for us! And remember that always you need something or you're in trouble, you can come here and we'll try to help you as well as you help us!

Me: I'm so glad to have helped you, thank you so much! Good luck with this case!

LOVE STORY- A DIALOGUE

Thomas: Hi, I am Thomas. What's your name?
Laura: Hi, my name is Laura. Nice to meet you.
Thomas: Oh, you look so pretty with this red dress, your boyfriend is a lucky guy!
Laura: Thanks, you look pretty too. But... I don't have a boyfriend, we split up last month.
Thomas: Oh, I am sorry for you... You will find someone better. Don't worry about it!
Laura: Can we change the topic of this conversation?
Thomas: Of course! Do you want something to drink? We can go out to take some beers. What do you think about it?
Laura: Ok! it sounds good. What is more, the music is horrible, I prefer pop than rock! I can't be there more. Let's go outside please!

Should school exams be abolished?

Today, exams are one important thing to determinate the quality of each student. 

On the one hand, many students are afraid and scared to do exams. For this reasons, teachers and parents should give us some keys to overcome this problem. Parents should do the same too.
Furthermore, if yo had a bad day the exam would be also bad. But, if we only did one exam, it would be really bad, because your marks depend on only one exam. The problem starts when we have several homework and we also have exams. We don't have time for all: the students have a lot of extra activities and teacher ginve too many homework every day. 

On the other hand, the exams are the most important way to determinate the quality of each student. For the teachers it is easir to determine the mark when the student does the exam, because teachers know if we understand all the syllabus.

All in all, if we hadn't so many exams, we would have better marks at school. If we hadn't exams, we wouldn't study for any subject.

Therefore, exams are good for the students but not in excess.

BIOGRAPHY OF VIN DIESEL

Vin Diesel, who is one of American's top celebrity actors, was born in July, 1967 in New York city. Vin's stepfather was a dramateacher and Diesel started acting at the age of 7.
Vin is a fitness man, and helps him to improve his career. Vin makes horror and action films, because he is serious and strong man, and the characters are very important to make this type of films. He started his actor career with some films that aren't very important . However, his first important film is "Saving Private Ryan" in 1998. Three years later he started fast and forious saga, the first film made in 2001, and nowadays in 2015 made fast and forious 7. in 2017 this saga will release fast and forious 8. Apart from that, Vin makes other important films, for example: Chronicles of Riddick in 2004, Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014.
Vin continues to work as a chef, and for me, Vin Diesel is my hero. In my opinion, he has used his celebrity status to highlight important issues, and he has helped and inspirated people all over the country.

Love story

Thomas and Laura started to chat up at my birthday party. They spent all night talking.

Some days later, Thomas pluck up the courage and ask Laura out. Of course, she agreed with.

They started to go out and they also wanted to settle down in another city, but their parents did not let them because they were very young.

For this reason, Laura's parents wanted Laura to split uo with Thomas, but this did not happen.

Currently, they are living together and they are still in love.

A DATE!

One day my friend John chatted Helen up in a Starbuck cafe in Salou. They both really liked horror books and one day thay went to read a horror book together. They got on verywell and slowly they to fall in love. One days later John asked she and Hellen said yes very happy. That's a good thing about summer, but they didn'trealize and September arrived and they had to go back to school, they decided to have grown apart because they didn't like the distance. They were very sad and they splitted up because of the distance and they didn't talk anymore, but they didn't forget them. This is a short and intense love story.

My Love Story

Sometimes people forget how magic and unpredictable is the live. In my case (*) is very particular.
I was in an outdoors party, there were a lot of people dancing, having a longshot... Forgetting how they are and who they are. However, I was very bored. I was entertained seeing what they are doing.
My friends were having fun because they were drunk. Suddenly, one friend presented me one girl. The girl was normal, but there was something of her which made me feel silly. I didn't realise that my friend left and we were alone. In fact, not at all because there was one friend of her that observed me. She began to chat me up. I was surprised because, I used to begin. We were talking for a long time, when she started to ask me the time. I didn’t' understand it. So I answer with the innocent answer. She was desperate, so she asked me my telephone number. I was blasted and as a consequence, I gave my number. After this night, she texted early and she shared a picture to serve as an excuse to date me. She was completely fallen for me. One evidence was how early she respond me on WhatsApp. Anyway, started to know her and I put up with so quickly that I was a bit scared because I was starting to fall in love by the time I was knowing more of her. We date in bar, the conversation was very formal however I found my partner very smart, confident and very charming. Although, she was timid. The first date was successful, because I get another date in a few days. The flux of text messages grew (up) such (*) the trust between each other. 

The second date we went to the same bar and I was very nervous, so I got courage and I asked her what she wanted. She blushed as red as a rose. She said (*) me if I would like to go out. I was thunderstruck, I gave her a rose which I bought before and then she got closer to me… And of course, she kissed  my lips. So since this kiss, I have been with her.

SHOULD SCHOOL EXAMS BE ABOLISHED

Many people agree with exams, whereas other disagree. For example there are pupils that are responsable and accept exams. However, there are pupils that aren't responsable and don't accept them. Some people think that exams are good and it is the way to learn, but some people think that exams are bad and there are other ways to learn, for example with works.

On the one hand, exams are good, because it is the way to learn and express the subject topic. the responsable pupils want the exams because they go to school to learn. The exams question the pupils things about the subject, and it's a good way to learn.

On the other hand, the exams are bad because they create a lot of nervous, stress, impatience... Most pupils think that the works, the oral exams, the participation in class, the actitude, the homework are a good way to qualificate and evaluate the exams. Because most of the pupils don't control the stress and do bad in exams.

In my opinion, I abolish exams because I don't control my stress and then I fail them. This topic is very important nowadays into the pupils because most of them fail the exams for stress

It is true that exams are the most realistic method to check the whole work of students objectively. However, some teachers are less supporters of this method. The exams in some times are right and in some times are unfair. We must look at the both sides of the question.

On the one hand, exams should not be abolished because they have a big importance in student’s life. The importance of the exams comes from the fear of the students to fail in it. That makes students study harder to achieve their goals. In addition to this, exams are basic to know now which your knowledge is and what you have to study more. Moreover, the educational laws are very clear: the teacher must do exams for the students and the whole grade is based on exams and behavior. The exams take part of the grades in a 90% and the behavior only takes the rest.

On the other hand, exams have a bad consequence for their health. A great part of the students agree with it. Exams are a source of stress and problems. Because of that, most teachers thinks in other kinds of forms to give the final mark. Although they are still doing exams. What's more, the exams are very unfair because they don't tell the truth. For example: You can be a good at maths but another person gets the same mark as you because she is good at studying even if she isn't her strength.

In conclusion, I believe exams are good but in a restricted was. Because exams cause stress and problems, although, they help achieve your goals and be proud of you.
