The bicycle

In the ancient Egypt were fabricated artifacts with two wheels and one rod that linked the wheels. In China were fabricated something like this but the wheels was made of bamboo. 
In 1490 in a work of Leonardo da Vinci appeared a drawing of a bicycle, driven by pedals and a chain. This bicycle was invented in 1839. But first was invented a bicycle without pedals. 
In 1817, the german man, Karl Christian Ludwig Drais von Sauerbronn invented the bicycle. He called it the walking machine, in his language "laufmaschine". After that the french smith Pierre Michaux modified a bit this bicycle. 
In 1839 the Scottish Kirkpatrick Macmillan invented the bicycle with pedals. Macmillan never patented this bycicle and  later in 1846 Gavin Dalzell de Lesmahagow made a copy and diffused it. During 50 years people believed that Gavin Dalzell invented the bicycle with pedals. 
In 1890 the english man Jhon Boyd Dunlop invented the new wheel, a rubber wheel.
